Levantine Grill: Authentic Mediterranean Delights in Novi

I was torn on this one for between three and four stars. My readings are three stars mean I'd go back, four stars mean I'll make a special trip. In fairness, I had the Greek salad and the meatballs. I would have them again, but I'd likely recommend that there are some other items on this menu that would be worthwhile if I wasn't trying for keto.

I got takeout shawarma wraps and a baba ghanoush from here and they were so good! Place looked nice inside and servers were very friendly and fast to get my order out.

I've finally discovered the best Mediterranean in the Novi area! Service was insanely quick, all of our food came out within 10 minutes of ordering. The waiter was very nice, but I do wish he would have refilled our drinks at least once during our meal. Food tasted excellent. Compared to many other Mediterranean places in the metro area, I do think they skimped out on the portion of shawarma though. The restaurant itself is lovely and has a walk up counter for coffee which I'll have to try next time.

I tried the lamb w hummus and order of baba ghanoush. All terrific! I would order that every time I came. The staff was hospitable and very nice. I recommend the Levantine Grill.

The service was fast & efficient, and the food excellent! They give you fresh-made pita bread! I could have filled up on their pita, hummus, & tabbouleh, they were so good (and garlic cream - OMG, I am absolutely willing to be shunned by mankind for rest of the day to eat this). But I had their lunch special (kofta) and am glad that I did. The side salad and the rice (be sure to get it with almonds) complemented the well made meat dish perfectly! (The only thing that wasn't PERFECT was their smoothie - it was tasty, but too sweet.) There were so many other things on the menu that looked wonderful! Definitely recommend this place.

What an incredible restaurant! First off, the place is done beautifully with detailed woodwork. I felt transported to the Middle East. Not that I've ever been there. The food matched the level of care put in to the decoration. The humus was creamy and tasty. I had an arabic tea that was delicious and unique. The meat was spiced just right. To top it all, the staff was super friendly and helpful. It was obvious that they are proud of their food and wanted us to enjoy the restaurant.

If you are around this area stop by. Their food is so fresh and flavorful. They have a great lunch special at a very affordable price. The restaurant is big, clean and the staff is incredibly nice. Their fresh warm bread and their lentil soup are worth the trip.

Thank you fellow yelpers. My dad is in the hospital and we were looking for a restaurant near Novi. Middle Eastern food is my comfort food, so we headed to the Levantine Grill because of its high rating. I had the Sajji chicken which is a grilled 1/2 chicken with a spicy curry sauce. My sister had a chicken kabob and her daughter had a fattoush salad with shawarma. The food was excellent and the portions plentiful. The rice was also very good. The restaurant was not very busy and the service was very good. My soda was refilled without asking and the pita was hot and good. I will go back again and highly recommend the Levantine Grill.

This was our first time here, drawn in by the excellent Yelp reviews. Overall, a very solid experience and we will probably be back. Here is how things shook out: Doing great: - Atmosphere - very clean restaurant and lovely wood depiction of the world on the back wall. I wish I had gotten a picture of it now in hindsight. - Friendly staff but not overbearing -The warm bread and garlic was great as we pondered the menu. We also received hummus, but I am not a huge fan of hummus so I left that to my hubby to eat...that was fine with me as garlic is my favorite. -Shish Shrimp: If I could only eat this for the rest of my life, I would be happy. Excellent grill on the shrimp and incredibly flavorful! -Baklava was one of the best we have ever had! Very crispy! We liked it but was not our favorite: -Rice was almost sticky. I personally just prefer a more dry rice. -Shish Kafta was not what my hubby was looking for...it was another dish and he got the name wrong. Not their fault but he did not like this as much as what he had hopped. A lot of flavor and massive portion.
